The standard we aim at

WCAG 2.1 level AA. We are not formally certified against it, and this page describes our own testing rather than an external audit.

Colour and contrast

Every text and background pair was measured rather than estimated. The check walks the live page, resolves the background actually painted behind each piece of text, and compares it against the 4.5:1 body and 3:1 large-text thresholds. It currently reports no failures on any page.

Two consequences you can see: text on a green fill is near-black rather than white, because white on that green is 2.21:1 and near-black is 8.55:1. And green buttons carry a darker ring, because the fill alone is below the 3:1 that a control boundary needs.

Keyboard

Everything interactive is reachable and operable with a keyboard, including the pack explorer, the flavour selector, the fuel plan builder and the bag. Focus is always visible. A skip link is the first thing you reach on every page.

The bag drawer and the mobile menu trap focus while open, close on Escape, and return you to where you were.

Motion

If your system is set to reduce motion, animation is switched off rather than merely shortened. Nothing on the site depends on movement to be understood.

Content is never hidden waiting for an animation that might not run. Sections render visible by default and are only animated in once the browser has confirmed it can do so, with a timeout that reveals them regardless.

Structure and screen readers

Real headings in order, real landmarks, real labels tied to their inputs, and errors announced rather than only coloured. The pack illustration is a single labelled image rather than forty fragments of packaging text read out of context, and the nutrition panel is a real table with row and column headers.

Zoom and small screens

The site is usable down to 320px and at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling. Text resizes with your browser settings; nothing is baked into an image.

Known gaps

• No external audit and no assistive-technology user testing. Our checks are automated and manual, which catches a lot but not everything.
• The nutrition and delivery rate tables scroll sideways inside their own container on very narrow screens. They stay readable, but a wide table is still a wide table.
• The pack explorer conveys flavour partly through colour. The flavour name is always written alongside, so colour is never the only cue, but the pack preview itself is visual.
