Privacy
Short, because this site collects very little. Everything below describes what the code actually does, not what a template says it might.

What stays in your browser
Your bag is kept in your own browser’s local storage under the key peakgo.cart.v1. It never reaches us until you check out. Clearing your browser data empties it.
The fuel plan builder sends nothing anywhere. The sport, duration and body mass you type are used to do arithmetic on your device and are not stored, logged or transmitted.
Cookies
There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this site. There is no Google Analytics, no pixel, and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
One cookie exists: peakgo_admin, set only when the shop owner signs in to the admin area. It holds a signed session token, is marked HttpOnly and Secure, and expires after twelve hours. If you are a customer, you will never be issued one.
What we collect when you order
The details you type at checkout: your name, email address, delivery address, and what you bought. We need these to send you a parcel and to tell you it is coming. They are kept with the order.
We do not ask for a date of birth, a phone number, or anything else we do not need to deliver a pouch of sweets.
Payment
No payment processor is connected on this build, so no card details can be entered or stored. When Stripe is switched on, card details will be entered on Stripe’s own systems and will never touch this site or its servers. We would receive only a payment reference and the last four digits.
Forms
The contact and newsletter forms currently validate in your browser and do not yet submit anywhere. The success message says so rather than pretending a record was created. When email is connected, the address you give will be used for that purpose only.
Who else sees it
The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes requests and therefore sees standard server log information such as IP addresses. Order data is held in the shop’s own store. We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or pass it to anyone who is not needed to get your order to your door.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as we need them for accounting and returns. Ask us to delete yours and we will, except where we are legally required to retain a sales record.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, and object to how it is used. Email hello@peakgo.example and we will action it. You can also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. There is no version history yet because there has only ever been one version.
